Lithuanian Republic Dissolved by His Majesty King Roman II

Perhaps one of the most significant events in Lithuania’s recent history has apparently been over looked by all. Including myself.
I just now learned that only a couple of years ago Lithuania ceased to be a Republic!
It seems that His MAJESTY King ROMAN II has restored Lithuania’s Monarchy and dissolved the Republic by ‘Royal Decree’
