Her name is Maže and she is an American Eskimo. But I call her my Lithuanian Beer Hound because she is always eager to sample a new brand of Lithuanian Beer when aviliable. She prefers Svyturys, while I lean towards Biržietčiu Alaus.
American Eskimo Dogs are known to be kind hearted and devoted members of the family. Their capacity to learn quickly and willingness to perform tricks made them popular for use in circuses and animal shows.
The females, if bred and raised properly tend to be exceptionally gentle and affectionate.
As small as they may be, they retain many of the traits and characteristics associated with their wolf ancestors. They are a member of the SPITZ family. A NORDIC type dog. And most likley came to America with German Immigrants.
